Researches show even something little like driving through city traffic or bargaining at a market makes one stressed depending on the condition. This kind of stress over a while can negatively affect the immune system besides other consequences like depression.

Rest in the pose for as long as needed.

Similarly, practising Trikonasana or triangle pose daily ensures optimal blood flow to all the organs.

Those who have recovered from Covid – 19 is looking for Ayurveda treatment to get rid of post covid issues.

Here is where the centuries-old tradition of ancient Kerala Ayurveda is fast turning Kerala into a hub for ayurvedic treatment. We are getting queries from a domestic tourist as well as from international tourist. This will make Kerala emerge as a global medical tourism destination. Kerala Ayurveda is attracting tourists as well as international celebrities to the state.

Years back British supermodel Naomi Campbell arrived in Kerala for Ayurvedic treatment at Leela Kovalam Beach hotel now known as Raviz Kovalam. During her stay, she was only asserting the effectiveness of the Indian healing system with God’s Own Country as its torch-bearer in modern times.

Other celebrities who visited the state includes Italian film director Bernardo Bertolucci, who came to Kerala for Ayurvedic treatment for a nagging ailment. Bernardo is known for his global hits like Last Tango in Paris and The Last Emperor,

Similarly, German TV and film actress Ingeborg Schoener had got cured of her painful knee problem and had stopped allopathic treatments.

Other celebrities who come to Kerala for ayurvedic treatment and medicines are Popstar Madonna, Hollywood actress Demi Moore and Cherie Blair, wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Back home, our former Prime Minister Late A B Vajpayee is a passionate believer in the medicinal qualities of Ayurveda Panchakarma therapy.

The list of celebrities from the showbiz world, sports and politics, fascinated by Ayurvedas power to rejuvenate, detoxify and cure, is a never-ending one.

Ayurveda is practised in Kerala in its traditional and authentic form, has been a major attraction for tourists. We are now planning to leverage its healing and curative aspects, along with its wellness system, to woo tourists during the monsoon season. The Malayalam month of “Karkitakam” (roughly July during the monsoon season) is the best time to take ayurvedic treatment because the body absorbs more medical effects of the treatment.

Symptoms of a large number of diseases, like arthritis, nervous system disorders, Parkinson’s, asthma and skin ailment, flare up during the monsoon. But the treatment is also the most effective during this period as the atmosphere becomes dust-free and cool.

From autism to Alzheimer’s, from pregnancy to weight loss, from migraine to diabetes, from sexual disability to slip disc – there is not a single problem that Ayurveda does not have an answer.
